The podcast talking about success stories of French people in Australia. I am Aurélie, I am from France and I have been living in Melbourne for many years. Since my beginnings down under, I have always been passionate about hearing the stories of my fellow French who found their place, their mission or their purpose so far away from their homeland. Did they have a dream when they moved to Australia? Or did their aspirations develop with their new life here? How did they make “it” happen? In every episode, our guests will share what it means to undertake a project out of their comfort zone, the cultural differences they faced and how being French in Australia has been a bonus, or a challenge, in their endeavours. With this podcast, I invite you to follow inspiring personal journeys into different fields: entrepreneurship, personal development, relationships or career to name only a few. The achievement of something positive, this is what success stories mean here and what we will discuss, with passion, honesty and of course a bit of an accent! I hope you will feel inspired by these conversations. I like hearing from you so don’t hesitate to share your feedback and suggest me new guests. You can find me on Instagram at Youaresofrench.thepodcast, or email me at youaresofrench.thepodcast@gmail.com To finish, I would love it if you could help me makes this podcast my success story by rating You Are So French the podcast on your favourite streaming platform with stars, the more the better! You can also subscribe to never miss an episode and of course tell your friends and family about it! À bientôt !

In this episode we have the pleasure of hearing from Olivier Vojetta. Much like many of our previous guests, Olivier has been living several lives, before Australia and since he settled in Sydney in 2012.
Throughout his journey, he has grappled with duality, and Australia has provided him with both the space and the mindset to fully explore this aspect of his life.
In this conversation, Olivier shares with us how he has managed to strike a balance between his left and right brain, his creative passions and analytical skills. He discusses the pivotal moments that have shaped his path, including the creation of the French Bistro events, where Francophiles gather to discuss life and societal topics through a philosophical lens. Olivier also sheds light on his writing endeavours, where he explores personal and intimate experiences.
Thank you Olivier for this sincere conversation that touches on many fascinating aspects of the life of a French man in Australia.
Bonne écoute !
